NEW COMMIT: Madilyn Sindelar has given her verbal commitment to swim for the University of South Dakota, beginning in the 2018-2019 season. Sindelar is from Rocklin, California. She’s a senior at Whitney High School and swims for the Rocklin Mavericks.

She shared with Swimming World,

“I committed to the University of South Dakota because of the amazing school atmosphere, super friendly team, and the welcoming coaches. As soon as I stepped on campus I knew I wanted to be apart of the yote family.”

Her best times are:

  • 100 Fly 57.05
  • 100 Back 1:00.66
  • 50 Free 25.38
  • 50 Fly 27.21
  • 50 Back 28.71
  • 100 Free 54.85

At last year’s Summit League Championships Sindelar would have been a 100 fly B finalist. The team had two swimmers score in that event. In last year’s 400 medley relay Hannah Gupton swam the fly leg in 57.02. Sindelar could find herself in immediate contention for that spot.
