The 2017 Phillips 66 Nationals concluded today with fast swims and the final members of Team USA qualifying for the World Championships team.

2016 Olympians Caeleb Dressel and Leah Smith delivered dominating performances throughout the five day meet, earning themselves High Point Awards.

Dressel concluded the meet with a top showing in the men’s splash and dash, ending with a fourth individual event. The rising senior at Florida is slated to swim the 50 and 100 free, 50 and 100 fly, as well as the 4×100 and 4×200 free relays.

Smith concluded the meet by winning her second national title in the women’s 1500 free from a previous heat. She qualified for Budapest in the 200, 400, 800, and 1500 free, plus the 400 IM and 4×200 free relay.

The two earned a total of 91 points (Smith) and 90 points (Dressel) throughout the course of the meet.
