MCLEAN, Virginia, October 17. GEORGIA Southern received a phone call from Nation’s Capital Swim Club’s Breanna Stuart, as the breaststroker announced that she’ll be an Eagle next fall.

Stuart has improved each year under the guidance of Hall of Fame coach Pete Morgan. Though she excels mostly in breaststroke, she can swim a wide variety of events well, something that is common among Nation’s Capital athletes. She claims a lifetime best of 1:05.23 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:20.96 in the 200 breast.

She also has potential in the 200-yard fly, with a 2:07.03 to her credit and a 4:27.52 in the 400-yard IM.

Stuart studies with the Christa McAuliffe School of Art and Science online program and will graduate in May.
