Bolles Rolls to First Place at FSPA Invitational

ORLANDO, Florida, October 4. THE Bolles School, which boasts one of the top scholastic programs in the nation, enjoyed a sterling showing over the weekend at the FSPA Invitational, held in Orlando, Florida. Bolles easily captured top honors in the team standings, thanks to a point total of 852. St. Thomas Aquinas finished second with 293 points and Fort Myers High was third with 236 points.

Bolles swept all six relays and the girls were led by Caitlin Geary, who scorched a time of 1:49.41 en route to first place in the 200 free. Meanwhile, Sarah Sykes claimed victory in the 100 butterfly with an effort of 56.50. For the boys, Shaune Fraser was dominant in a pair of events. In addition to winning the 200 individual medley in 1:49.24, Fraser prevailed in the 100 fly, clocking in at 48.93. Bolles also received a win from Way Joe Lee in the 100 breaststroke, as he was timed in 59.47.
