Backstroker Beatrice Szilard Signs With Old Dominion

OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY, December 3. OLD Domunion University Head Coach Carol Withus announced today that Beatrice Szilard has signed a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period to join the Old Dominion swimming and diving team starting in the fall of 2003.

Szilard is currently a senior at Greenvalley High School in Las Vegas, NV. Some of her top times include 56.5 in the 100 backstroke, 2:00.40 in the 200 backstroke, and 23.6 in the 50 freestyle.

"Beatrice is a huge talent and we are excited about signing her. She will make an immediate impact on our team, " said Assistant Coach, Chris Hansen.
