Australia Dominates Men’s 400 Free Relay at 2015 FINA World Junior Championships

Australia proved to be too consistently good across the board en route to gold in the men’s 400-meter freestyle relay at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.

Vincent Dai, Kyle Chalmers, Brayden McCarthy and Jack Cartwright won the finale in 3:17.39 with Chalmers leading the way with a strong 48.41 second leg.

Team USA’s Ryan Hoffer, Daniel Kruger, Michael Jensen and Maxime Rooney finished second with a time of 3:18.42.

Italy’s Alessandro Bori, Giovanni Izzo, Ivano Vendrame and Alessandro Miressi placed third in 3:18.58.

Brazil (3:18.92), Russia (3:19.28), Canada (3:20.44), Venezuela (3:23.41) and Egypt (3:23.77) also competed for the gold medal.
