Auburn’s Cesar Cielo Ties U.S. Open, NCAA 50 Free Record with 18.69

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, March 15. IN one day of competition, Auburn's Cesar Cielo posted four of the fastest 50 free times ever, this time matching his U.S. Open and NCAA record swim from the 200 free relay with an 18.69 to tie Auburn for second all-time with seven 50 free titles in the history of the program.

Meanwhile, Auburn's Matt Targett, Stanford's Ben Wildman-Tobriner and Arizona's Albert Subirats tied for second with matching 19.08s.

In the team title hunt, Auburn took a huge lead with 126 points, while Stanford moved to second with 97 points. Arizona stood third with 91 points, while Florida (80) and Texas (73) completed the top five.
