Auburn, Arizona, North Carolina Claim Five Stars from Class of 2010

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 24. SEVERAL more top recruits in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings system made the college choices.

Auburn added a pair of five stars to an already stud-filled Class of 2010. Emily Bos and Haley Krakowski both committed to Brett Hawke.

Bos, who swims for the West Michigan Swimmers and Holland High, owns long course senior national cuts in the 100-meter free (56.52), 100-meter back (1:01.38) and 100-meter fly (1:02.06). She also would have qualified to swim in the 100-yard back (53.34) at the 2009 NCAA Division I Championships.

Krakowski, who swims for BEST and preps at Xavier College Prep, has long course senior national cuts in the 50-meter free (26.32) and 100-meter fly (1:02.36). She also has B cuts in the 100-yard free (49.64) and 200-yard free (1:47.68).

Bos and Krakowski join six star Dagny Knutson and five stars Nimrod Hayet, Chris Manning, Evan Noble and Erin Reisinger.

Five star Katherine Rechsteiner made the call to attend North Carolina in the Class of 2010. Rechsteiner, who swims for the Delaware Swim Team and preps at Charter School of Wilmington, owns long course senior national cuts in the 100-meter breast (1:11.37) and 200-meter breast (2:33.52). She also owns an NCAA Division I B cut in the 200-yard breast (2:16.58).

Rechsteiner joins three other five stars to commit to North Carolina. Patrick Ceddia, Emily Kelly and Stephanie Peacock are also North Carolina pledges.

Additionally, three star Kait Flederbach of Viper Aquatics committed to Arizona. Three star Ali Polhill joined four star Rocky Raybon as a future member of Clemson's swim team.

Three star Carly Munchel of WSY Swimming and Spring Grove High pledged her services to Louisville as part of the Class of 2010.

One star Emily Hovren also verballed to Iowa.
