Arthur Albiero’s 10th-Anniversary Gift: NCAA Win (Video Interview)

Editorial coverage by SpeedoUSA

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, March 30. LOUISVILLE head coach Arthur Albiero had a lot to celebrate at the end of finals Friday at the men's NCAA swimming and diving championships, and he talks in this video interview about the significance of Joao de Lucca winning the 200 freestyle.

Albiero also talks about grooming de Lucca to believe he could swim what would become the third-fastest swim in history, and how he was analyzing the race in real time as de Lucca was chasing history. This marks Albiero's 10th season at Louisville, and he talks about building the program to its current level, which now boasts two NCAA champions.

More video interviews from athletes and coaches are available now on NCAA event landing page, so be sure to check back often for more from the deck at the IU Natatorium!
