Arizona’s Albert Subirats Clocks Fastest 100 Yard Fly Ever

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, March 16. ARIZONA's Albert Subirats posted the fastest 100 butterfly time ever with a clocking of 44.57 to crush the NCAA and U.S. Open record of 44.72 set by Ian Crocker in 2004.

Stanford's Ben Wildman-Tobriner took second in 45.36, while Auburn's Matt Targett finished third in 45.87.

The win is Arizona's fourth title in the event in NCAA history.

Auburn still held first with 268 points, while Stanford remained second with 163 points. Florida (151), Arizona (142) and Texas (134) concluded the top five.
