Andrew Seliskar Sets 17-18 National Age Group Record in 200 Fly at Speedo Tom Dolan Invite

COLLEGE PARK – Nation’s Capital Swim Club’s Andrew Seliskar set a national age group record in the boys’ 17-18 200 fly tonight during finals of the Speedo Tom Dolan Invite at the University of Maryland’s Eppley Recreation Center.

Seliskar swam a 1:41.33 (22.13/26.08/25.82/27.30) to win the event and take down Tom Shields’ 1:41.52 from 2010. Seliskar had just missed the record in prelims with a 1:41.72. He still has a bit more time to drop to track down the American record of 1:39.65, which is shared by Shields and Michael Phelps.
