All-Star LSC Tri-Meet Features San Diego Imperial, Sierra Nevada, Central California

POWAY, California, January 22. DURING the past weekend, the San Diego Imperial, Sierra Nevada and Central California Local Swimming Committees held their 39th annual All-Star Tri Meet.

Overall, 48 swimmers from each LSC competed in the meet with San Diego Imperial winning the team competition with 3439 points. Sierra Nevada (3186) and Central California (1621) finished second and third.

Several standout swims occurred during the event in Southern California.

Kinsey Halladay posted a 1:11.84 in the 11-12 100 breast followed closely by Tina Rueter (1:12.60), both from Sierra Nevada. San Diego's Rachel Rhee swam a 2:01.59 in the 11-12 girls 200 freestyle, while Sierra Nevada's Connor Doran posted a 4:49.50 in the 11-12 400 IM.

Sierra Nevada's Winn Aung sparked some strong 10-and-under relays by splitting 54.63 on the 400 freestyle relay and 24.67 on the 200 medley relay. He also swam to victory in 1:04.01 in the 100 fly. Tucker Fisk, 14, won the 50 free with a 23.18, and the 100 fly with a 55.77.
