The 2017 NCAA D1 Men’s Swim & Dive Championships have splashed into action and after day one it is still anyone’s race! Swimming World’s Peter H. Bick has been on deck capturing all of the action and excitement as we charge towards a new national champion!

NC State’s Wolfpack swam away with the title in the 800 free relay on night one, but it was Texas (200 free relay) and Missouri (400 medley relay) who claimed top relay seeds during prelims of day two.

Will Licon of Texas and Caeleb Dressel of Florida will look to defend their titles as they return as the top seeds in the 200 IM and 50 free, while South Carolina’s Fynn Minuth and Akaram Mahmoud have set themselves up for a potential 1-2 finish in the 500 free.
