2005 World Championship Trials: Complete Results of Day Six; Timed Final Non-Olympic Distance Races; Individual High Point – Men – Women

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, April 6. Attached are the complete results from day six of the 2005 World Championship Trials in Indianapolis, Indiana. The only events contested today were the timed final non-Olympic distance events.

First was the 800 meters freestyle for men (same 1-2 finish as in 1500, Jensen (7:54.22) and Thompson (8:03.79)) and then the 1500 meters for women (Ziegler adds to 800 win with a 16:26.59 victory, with Claire Hutchinson of North Baltimore filling the second spot at 16:42.85).

Also finalized today, and attached, is the complete individual high point listing, men followed by women. As expected Katie Hoff of North Baltimore led the women with 83 points and her former NBAC teammate Michael Phelps led the men with 100.

Katie Hoff wins 400 IM.

Phelps wins 100 Fly.
