$15,000 For World Records

LAUSANNE, Switzerland- A world record will be worth $15,000 at the 1999 World Short-Course Swimming Championships held April 1-4 in Hong Kong. FINA said in a statement from their Swiss headquarters that the incentive would be paid for each world record broken.
