QUEBEC, Canada, June 29. BADGER's Lindsay Vrooman, and York Y's Meghan Small and Courtney Harnish had some special weekends at the Quebec Canada Cup.

Vrooman won a total of seven medals, with four golds, two silvers and a bronze. She captured victory in the 200-meter free (2:00.17) 400-meter free (4:12.38), 800-meter free (8:37.45) and the 1500-meter free (16:30.74). She also placed third in the 200-meter fly with a 2:17.74.

Badger also placed second in the women's 800-meter free relay with an 8:23.78 by way of a 2:01.90 anchor from Vrooman. She also anchored the women's 400-meter free relay to a 3:55.15 with a 57.03 for second as well. That's a pretty solid meet for the 22-year-old Hoosier.

York Y, on the other hand, had a pretty incredible meet as well with Small, 16, and Harnish, 15, both doing some special things. Small finished with five medals (four gold, one silver), while Harnish took home seven medals (three gold, three silver and a bronze).

Small and Harnish were both part of York's winning 800-meter free relay time of 8:21.51 as Harnish leadoff with a 2:02.95 and Small anchored with a 2:03.23. York also won the women's 400-meter free relay with Small and Harnish in the same spots. Harnish led with a 58.73, while Small anchored with a 57.21 as York Y won in 3:54.70. York Y captured a third relay title as Harnish and Small went 2-3 in the winning 400-meter relay of 4:18.49. Harnish clocked a 1:01.69, while Small split a 1:13.88.

Individually, Small won the 200-meter IM with a 2:14.20. Small also took second to Martha McCabe, 2:27.40 to 2:34.81, in the women's 200-meter breast.

Harnish took second to Vrooman in the 400-meter free with a 4:13.85, and placed third in the 400-meter IM in 4:54.87. The 15-year-old took another second-place finish against Vromann in the 1500 free with a 16:49.32 and also finished runner-up in the 800 free with an 8:41.33.
