Another Sizzling Evening From Konrad Czeriak With Twin Titles

OLSZTYN, Poland, June 8. IT’s been a strong week of action at the Polish Nationals for Wisla Polawy’s Konrad Czerniak, and he finished in style with two more wins in Olsztyn.

Czerniak nearly made his way into the top 20 in the SwimVortex world rankings with a winning time of 48.89 in the men’s 100-meter free. The time qualified him for the European Championships, but came up just a bit short of the top 20 currently anchored by Sergey Fesikov’s 48.76 from Russian Nationals. Jan Holub took down a Polish junior record with a 49.38 for second, while Pawel Korzeniowski rounded out the podium in 49.50.
