PHOENIX, Arizona, May 8. OF the top swimmers at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, Tang Yi of China stood out the most with three gold medals in individual events.

In today's Throwback Thursday video, commemorating 100 days to the start of the 2014 Youth Olympics, we feature one of the races that Tang won convincingly. Leading by a second after 100 meters in the 200 free final, Tang would extend that lead and win by two seconds with a 1:58.78.

Also keep an eye out in this video for American Jordan Mattern, who was in medal contention for about 150 meters but faded to seventh. Mattern would later be a part of the American record team from the University of Georgia in the 800-yard free relay and would swim on that relay at the 2013 world championships.

Also in the race and winning bronze was Emma McKeon, who just broke the Australian national record in the 200 freestyle on her way to qualifying for the Commonwealth Games and Pan Pacific championship teams.
