NBC Charlotte: Ryan Lochte Is Back In The Pool After Knee Injury

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, December 5. MUCH to the pleasure of his fans and the rest of the swimming community, Olympic gold medalist and overall swimming superstar Ryan Lochte returned to training following his knee injury last month, according to NBC Charlotte.

Lochte rejoined SwimMAC’s Team Elite in training yesterday, according to the television station that also said Lochte “felt like he was a kid learning how to swim again.”

Last month, Lochte had a crazy fan encounter where a true Lochte fanatic sprinted at the swimming star and jumped on him. Unfortunately, Lochte wasn’t ready for the collision as he wound up sustaining ACL and MCL injuries.

Regardless, it’s nice to see him back in the water to continue to gear up for the 2016 Rio Olympics, and a potential repeat of his American Swimmer of the Year title just awarded by Swimming World.
