SHEFFIELD, Great Britain, July 2. JUST days after the conclusion of the British Gas Swimming Championships, British Swimming has announced its World University Games roster. The team is led by Caitlin McClatchey, Rebecca Turner and Antony James, all who represented Great Britain a year ago.

Turner just finished winning a silver and bronze last week, and earned spots in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events at her initial World University Games competition. McClatchey's mother Louise, previously competed at the World University Games, and Caitlin is look to continue on with that family tradition in Russia.

Other members of the British squad heading to Russia are Anna Bochmann, Lewis Smith, Ryan Bennett, Rachel Lefley, James Broady, Megan Gilchrist and Christopher Steeples, all representing British-based universities. Meanwhile, Craig Hamilton will be on the team as well out of Louisiana State University in the United States.
