PHOENIX, Arizona, February 22. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading recent results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.
The Crawley Swimming Club in Sussex County, England, held time trials for swimmers to qualify for the County Championships in March.

Several carnivals were held in South Australia which served as qualifying meets. Among them: the Quorn Amateur Swimming Club Carnival Feb. 16 at the Quorn Memorial Swimming Pool, and the Booleroo Centre Carnival held at the Booleroo Centre Feb. 17.

SI PRESIDENT'S DAY SENIOR CLASSIC
Osprey Aquatics' Linnea Mack rewrote the record book in four events at the San Diego-Imperial President's Day Senior Classic Feb. 16-18 at the San Diego State University Aquaplex. Mack set marks in the 50 and 100 yard free (23.14 and 50.36), 100 back (55.28) and 100 fly (55.47).
Other individual records fell to North Coast Aquatics' Kelsey Kafka (women's 100 breast, 1:03.62), College Area Swim Team's Saran Nowaski (women's 200 fly, 2:01.35) and Daniel McArthur of Lakewood (men's 200 back, 1:49.49).
North Coast swimmers combined for a team championship 1,048 points, with Heartland second (884), Class Aquatics in third (706), Santa Maria Swim Club fourth (697) and Mission San Jose Aquatics taking fifth (682.5).

George Washington High School swept the team titles at the West Virginia State Swimming Championships Feb. 14-15 at the West Virginia University Natatorium in Charleston. The girls scored 216 points to Morgantown's 176, Wheeling Park's 122, Bridgeport's 119 and Elkins' 117. The Patriots collected a winning 192 points with Bridgeport second (156). Third through fifth places were decided by just 6 points, with Notre Dame emerging third (118) over Charleston Catholic (113) and South Charleston (111).

MPSSAA 3A/2A/1A NORTH REGIONAL
In preparation for this weekend's Maryland High School Championships, several regional competitions were held to qualify swimmers for the state competitions. In the 3A/2A/1A North Regional, Patuxent captured the girls team title with 368 points, followed by Calvert (333), Frederick Douglass (272), Crossland (211) and Friendly (164). Patuxent also claimed the boys championship with 375 points to Calvert's 316, Friendly's 278, Frederick Douglass' 260 and Crossland's 142. Fairmont Heights was one point shy of fifth (141).

The University of Chicago played host to the University Athletic Association (NCAA Division 3) Championships Feb. 13-16. Emory University swept the team titles. The Lady Eagles scored 1,955 points to Chicago's 1,435, Washington University's (St. Louis) 1,219.5, Carnegie Mellon's 1,192.5 and Rochester's 874.5. The men scored 1,818.5 points to claim the championship, followed by Carnegie Mellon (1,300), Chicago (1,230.5), Carnegie Mellon (1,192.5) and Rochester (874.5).

In a non-team scoring event, the University of Connecticut Huskies hosted the Uconn open Feb. 16 at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium in Storrs. Competing teams included Central Connecticut State, Providence College, Boston College, Assumption College, the University of Rhode Island, Keene State and Bryant University.
