LONDON, England, August 4. CHINA's Wu Minxia is just five dives away from matching history with her sixth Olympic medal after a dominant semifinal dive list in the women's three-meter springboard event at the 2012 London Olympics.

Wu tallied nearly 400 points with a 394.40 point total. With a medal of any color, Wu will tie Guo Jingjing for the most diving medals of all time at six. Wu's score today eclipsed her bronze-medal winning tally of 389.85 from the 2008 Beijing Games.

Italy's Tania Cagnotto snared the second seed heading into finals with 362.10 points after taking third in prelims. She's vying for her first medal in her fourth Olympic appearance. China's He Zi picked up third in finals with 354.50 points.

Canada's Jennifer Abel posted a fourth-place 353.25, while her teammate Emilie Heymens earned eighth with 331.35 points, even after having a horrible second dive. She managed to battle back to get into finals.

USA's Cassidy Krug (345.60) and Christina Loukas (339.75) also made the finale, while Mexico's Laura Sanchez Soto took seventh with 336.50 points. Australia's Sharleen Stratton (327.60), Sweden's Anna Lindberg (319.80), Australia's Jaele Patrick (315.60) and Ukraine's Olena Fedorova (314.70) also made finals.
