Twelve From South Africa Post Automatic Olympic Qualifying Times at Nationals

DURBAN, South Africa, April 23. SWIMMING South Africa has released a list of the 12 swimmers that swam faster than the FINA A standard at last week's long course nationals, which served as part of the country's Olympic team selection process.

The final team, including relay-only swimmers, will be announced soon by Swimming South Africa and the South Africa Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee.

Chad le Clos — 400m individual medley, 200m freestyle, 200m butterfly, 200m individual medley
Suzaan van Biljon — 200m breaststroke
Cameron van der Burgh — 100m breaststroke
Riaan Schoeman — 400m individual medley
Heerden Herman — 400m freestyle, 1500m freestyle
Kathryn Meaklim — 400m individual medley, 200m individual medley
Charl Crous — 100m backstroke
Gideon Louw — 100m freestyle
Darian Townsend — 200m individual medley
Wendy Trott — 800m freestyle
Roland Schoeman — 50m freestyle
Karin Prinsloo — 200m backstroke
