Trojans Back on Top of NCAA Men’s Water Polo College Coaches’ Poll Rankings

LOS ANGELES, California, October 16. THE University of Southern California Trojans are back in the familiar position as the top men’s collegiate water polo team in the nation, according to the new coaches’ poll released today by the Collegiate Water Polo Association.

USC fell to No. 2 on September 27, marking the first time the team had not been the best since November 2011. Crosstown rival UCLA took that top spot after beating USC at the NorCal tournament and held that position for two more weeks.

The Trojans served up a big dish of revenge this weekend at the SoCal tournament, beating UCLA 12-11 in the final in overtime.
