SANTA CLARA, California, June 21. RUSSIAN Olympian Arkady Vyatchanin won by more than three seconds tonight in the men's 200-meter back at the Arena Grand Prix in Santa Clara.

Vyatchanin, who has elected not to swim for Russia internationally anymore and will not swim in a major international meet this year, raced to a 1:55.30 tonight. That clipped his fifth-ranked season best of 1:55.33 from the Charlotte stop of the Grand Prix circuit.

Tyler Clary touched a distant second in 1:58.41, while BlueFish's Connor Green took third in 1:59.26.

California's Jacob Pebley (1:59.92), Machine's Jack Conger (2:01.66), Gators' Corey Main (2:02.27), Aquazot's Core Okubo (2:02.70), Bolles' Omar Pinzon (2:03.15) and Pleasanton's Maxime rooney (2:03.74) also put up times in the A final.

Drew Cosgarea touched out Santa Clara's Eric Ress, 2:03.01 to 2:03.08, in the B final. Dynamo's Jay Litherland took third in 2:03.69 with Wisconsin's Drew teDuits (2:03.73) and Austin Byrd (2:06.03) finishing fourth and fifth.

California's Jesse Ryckman (2:06.55), Mexico's Ezequiel Trujillo Aviles (2:06.83) and Wisconsin's Michael Weiss (2:08.28) also put up times in the B final with Dynamo's Michael Taylor drawing a disqualification.
