CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, May 17. RYAN Lochte, currently nursing a knee injury leading to taking off the meet here in Charlotte, is looking at a different type of swimming heading into the twilight of his career.

Lochte has been retooling his entire swimming technique with a focus on speed work as he heads into the 2016 Rio Olympics.
