Following an amazing Duel in the Pool during which Tom Shields used his stunning underwaters to set an American record in the 200 fly, and his experience on the FINA World Cup tour to help the coaching staff decide on the best potential mixed medley relay, USA Swimming Stats looked back at his busy short course season.

They found that he'd swum more than 50 competitive races in short course meters since September 1. Check it out below!
