Texas Senior Circuit, College Station: Aggies Bounce Back

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, May 19. AFTER UT-based swimmers stole the headlines on night one, the Aggies fought back with several event wins of their own during the second night of the Texas Senior Circuit event in College Station.

Cammile Adams of Aggie, who already stands 17th in the world in the women's 400 IM with a 4:38.80 from Austin in January, posted a smooth 4:51.58 for the distance medley triumph. Kaitlin Pawlowicz placed second in the event with a 4:53.56, while Susana Escobar earned third in 4:56.38.

Aggie Caroline McElhany topped the women's 100 fly in 1:01.15, while LSU's Amber Carter touched second in 1:01.68. Ellen Lobb picked up third in 1:01.75. Aggie Breeja Larson posted her second 1:10 of the day in the women's 100 breast with a winning 1:10.06. During prelims, she clocked a 1:10.49 for the top qualifying time. Spindrift Beck (1:11.81) and Catherine Wagner (1:12.68) placed second and third.

Dax Hill dominated the men's 200 free with a 1:50.83. Jake Ritter wound up a distant second in 1:52.30, while Kyle McNeilis turned in a third-place 1:53.06. Neil Caskey clinched the men's 100 fly title in 54.27, while Tripp Cooper (55.04) and Austin Surhoff (55.90) rounded out the top three. Eric Friedland pipped Nick D'Innocenzo, 1:04.44 to 1:04.64, for the men's 100 breast title. Kyle Yu wound up third in 1:05.80.

Karlee Bispo hit the wall in 2:02.21 to win the women's 200 free, while Simone Manuel, 15, earned second in 2:03.00. Samantha Tucker snared third in 2:03.75. In a close finish, Lily Moldenhauer clipped Katy Motsinger, 30.02 to 30.07, for the women's 50 back victory. Sammie Hashbarg finished third in 30.70.

Madison Wenzler posted a 26.96 to win the men's 50 back finale. Aaron Greene (27.42) and Nick Allen (27.90) rounded out the top three. Jonathan Roberts closed out the night with a 4:31.08 to win the men's 400 IM. Ryan Massey finished second in 4:33.67, while Daniel Graviss picked up third in 4:33.81.
