Eastin had shoulder issues during the high school season, and she talked about getting through the high school season and putting up a decent time for Crean Lutheran at the California Interscholastic Federation sectional championships. She was pleasantly surprised that she swam a time in the 200 IM that was 1.5 seconds slower than her independent high school record, because she had been holding back in training. She also talks about the upcoming junior national and senior national championships and why she’s happy they are being held in her hometown of Irvine.
