Morning Swim Show: A Chat With Giles Smith, Part One

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 18. TODAY’S edition of The Morning Swim Show is the first of a two-part interview with Arizona senior Giles Smith, who is primed to win the NCAA title in the 100 butterfly after an impressive showing at the Texas Invitational.

In this first part, Smith talks about the changes he’s made, both physically and mentally, to get under the 45-second barrier for the first time and what he’s done recently in training to get his body ready for that swim. He also talks about how he and the rest of the team have carried on in the wake of head coach Eric Hansen’s leave of absence. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
