Morning Swim Show: Ricky Berens Looks Back on Stellar Swimming Career

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 5. RICKY Berens joins today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show on the heels of his retirement announcement.

Berens tells host Jeff Commings that, unlike his retirement announcement after last year’s Olympics, this retirement is official and lasting. He talks about the reasons why it felt right to end his swimming career now, and what he’s doing at the University of Texas. He also looks back on a career that put him in the middle of Michael Phelps’ quest for eight gold medals in Beijing and as the Greatest Olympian of All Time in London.
