Morning Swim Show: Conversation With Paralympian Jessica Long (Part 2)

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 24. PART two of our interview with Paralympic champion Jessica Long is today's edition of The Morning Swim Show, and she discusses the exciting reunion she's preparing for with her Russian birth parents

Click here to watch Part One.

Long, who was born Tatiana Krillova to Russian parents, was adopted after her first birthday by American parents. Her birth parents were convinced to leave Long at the hospital, as she was born without the fibula bone in her legs, and it was deemed a hardship for her parents. Long talks about the circumstances by which she learned of the status of her parents and how she's been working on a documentary to film the upcoming reunion. She also looks back on her amazing career and what it means to have achieved so much by age 21, and what career path she might take when her swimming career ends many years from now.
