Morning Swim Show: Diver Samantha Pickens Having a Major Breakout Year

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 31. NCAA champion diver Samantha Pickens joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show.

Pickens has had a breakout year, winning the NCAA title on the 1-meter springboard in March, then following it up with a spot on the USA Diving roster for the world championships. She talks about making the transition to a new coach at the University of Arizona, and how past head coach Michele Mitchell's continued involvement has helped her. She also analyzes some of the tough dives she is learning and why perfecting them on the “dry board” doesn't always mean she will execute it well on the actual diving board.
