Morning Swim Show: Rec Swimmer Charlie Wiser on Beating National Mark

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 22. CHARLIE Wiser joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show shortly after becoming the second-fastest 100 breaststroker in high school history.

Wiser relives the race in which he, Steven Stumph and Nick Silverthorn broke the national high school record in the 100 breast, and how his win earlier in the day in the 200 IM set him up for an extraordinary swim. What is remarkable about Wiser's feat is that he does not train full-time for swimming, putting slightly more emphasis on water polo. He talks about choosing to play water polo and swim at Stanford in the fall, and what his plans are for the summer. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
