PHOENIX, Arizona, January 10. KATINKA Hosszu is ready to leap off the page as Swimming World Magazine's cover athlete for February. To capture the perfect shot, the Hungarian Olympian and overall female winner of the 2012 FINA World Cup Series was recently the centerpiece in a pretty cool cover shot photo shoot for Swimming World Magazine.
Hosszu's agent, Shane Tusup, sent Swimming World the following "Behind the Scenes" video. It shows all the pieces that go into getting the perfect cover shot.
After the shoot, Hosszu told Swimming World Magazine that holding her medals on her arms and around her neck for the cameraman "...was like a workout." The crew experimented with different ways to present the medals and $100k FINA check. In one shot, Hosszu tosses a number of stuffed World Cup mascots, given during awards ceremonies, into the air.
