Streamlined News: Junior Nationals, Tom Dolan Invite Previews

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 5. THE USA Swimming junior nationals kicks off tomorrow morning in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is a short course yards meet that will feature some fast 18-and-under swimmers, including Joseph Schooling of the Bolles School Sharks, who broke the national high school record in the 100 butterfly last month. Kristen Vredeveld, who owns a couple of national high school relay records for the Baylor School, will be the top sprint freestyler at the meet on the girls' side. We'll be bringing you live recaps from nationals on swimmingworld.com and on Twitter.

Also starting tomorrow is the Tom Dolan Invitational on the campus of the University of Maryland. Katie Ledecky and Jack Conger will be the headliners, though plenty of other young talent from the East Coast are certain to impress as well, including 14-year-old Allie Szekely in the breaststroke and IM events. Swimming World will be presenting a live stream of the meet all weekend, and we invite you to come watch this always exciting competition starting at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow, then 6 p.m. Eastern Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
