PHOENIX, Arizona, October 23. CAMILLE Muffat made her 2012 World Cup debut memorable in Berlin last weekend, coming within one hundredth of a second of the short course 400 freestyle world record. Her time of 3:54.93 fell just shy of Joanne Jackson's world mark from 2009, and it makes us here at Swimming World excited to see what Muffat will do in December at the world championships.
While many Olympic champions are starting to return to form, it appears Muffat didn't rest on her Olympic laurels. Congratulations to Camille Muffat for earning our Performance of the Week.
