Performance of the Week: Oct. 9, 2012

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 9. SWIM meets all over the world last weekend gave us a lot of choices for the best performance in the pool, and this week we're going with a foursome from Florida who set two overall national high school relay records.

Last weekend at the Florida Swimming Pool Association High School Invitational Swimming & Diving Meet, the Bolles School quartet of Ryan Murphy, Joseph Schooling, Santo Condorelli and Josh Booth started off with a new national record in the 200 freestyle relay with a 1:20.88, taking down Hershey High School's record from 2010. Then, the same four swam a 2:58.58 in the 400 free relay to break New Trier's overall national record set last February. Bolles now owns all three relay national high school records, and could possibly lower those records again at the state championships in about a month.

Congratulations to the Bolles relay. You've won our Performance of the Week!
