Poll of the Week: What Did You Think of the "Saturday Night Live" Spoof of Ryan Lochte? -- September 21, 2012

PHOENIX, Arizona, September 21. WE'LL come back to voting next week for the best male freshman prospect this season, but this week, we wanted to get your thoughts on the "Saturday Night Live" sketch from last weekend that spoofed Ryan Lochte.

Did you think it was funny and spot-on, funny but a little mean, or not funny and very mean? If you haven't seen the video, just click on the Poll of the Week icon on the home page to watch the sketch featuring Seth MacFarlane as Lochte, or just go directly to swimmingworldmagazine.com/poll. We'll bring you the results of the poll next week.

With the college swimming season getting underway here in the United States, we wanted to know which female freshman you think will be the top performer. By a large margin, Elizabeth Pelton, a freshman at UC-Berkeley, received the most votes, with 43.59 percent. Her teammate Rachel Bootsma came in second with 25.64 percent. Rounding out the voting was Stanford's Sarah Haase, Georgia's Brittany MacLean and Florida's Sinead Russell. Five percent of voters picked "other," believing there's another freshman out there who could do very well.
