The Morning Swim Show, March 8, 2012: Academic and Athletic Success a Way of Life at Dartmouth

PHOENIX, Arizona, March 8. ON today's edition of The Morning Swim Show, Dartmouth head coach Jim Wilson talks about what it takes to succeed in and out of the pool at the Ivy League school.

The swim team had the best combined GPA of all Division I schools last fall, and Wilson talks about the instant expectations the students bring when they are freshmen, based on their academic performances in high school, and how it translates to making priorities with schoolwork and swimming. He also talks about the historic improvement the team made this year at the Ivy League championships, and the unusual circumstances that led to one swimmer changing events a couple of months ago.
