David Guthrie, Longhorn Masters Break Masters World Records in San Antonio -- August 14, 2012

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, August 14. A little more than a month after breaking two Masters world records at the USMS national championships, David Guthrie lowered those marks even further last weekend at the South Central Long Course Championships.

Guthrie started off with a 2:32.55 in the 200 breast on Saturday, lowering the world record of 2:32.68 he set in early July.

Guthrie added two more world records to his list last weekend as part of the 400 medley relay. IU Masters had swum the fastest time in history with a 4:27.93 from August 2009.
