That issue of Junior Swimmer began what would eventually become Swimming World Magazine. While Swimming World has been in existence in mimeograph format since 1952, 1960 is the first time we became a magazine.

We are proud of our history, and thank each and every one of our readers who have made the decades of coverage so great.
