USA Swimming Foundation Celebrates 10th Anniversary with a New Logo

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, March 19. THE USA Swimming Foundation today unveiled a new look with a redesign of its primary logo and new logos for the Make a Splash initiative and the Make a Splash Tour presented by Phillips66. The new look spearheads the celebration of the USA Swimming Foundation’s 10th anniversary.

Since its inception in 2004, the USA Swimming Foundation has raised over $16 million to date to support is mission of saving lives and building champions. The Foundation’s Make a Splash initiative has also grown by leaps and bounds. The national child-focused water safety campaign features more than 600 Make a Splash local partners in every U.S. state and more than two million children have received the lifesaving gift of swim lessons since its origin.

“The new logo is a fresh visual combination of the USA Swimming Foundation’s mission of saving lives and building champions,” said Debbie Hesse, Executive Director of the USA Swimming Foundation. “The Make a Splash and Tour logos utilize the new Foundation logo and also incorporate the water drop icon that has become synonymous with the Foundation’s Make a Splash initiative.”

The new USA Swimming Foundation logo pays homage to the national governing body’s shield to signify the building champions’ side of the Foundation’s mission. The bottom portion of the new mark references the aqua blue of the original Make a Splash logo with a small wave of water to exemplify saving lives.

The new logos will be used in all USA Swimming Foundation materials and kicks-off the Foundation’s anniversary celebration.
