SwimAtlanta’s Tomas Peribonio Gives USC’s McGee Moody Strong Distance Threat

SUWANEE, Georgia, October 12. SOUTH Carolina head coach McGee Moody must have lived at the 2013 NCSA Junior Nationals this year as he continues to score recruits that performed well at that meet. A day after Nevada’s Patrick McCrillis committed to the Gamecocks, SwimAtlanta’s Tomas Peribonio pledged his services to Moody.

Peribonio is ranked seventh in the state of Georgia by CollegeSwimming.com, and that state has had some incredible depth this year with the Dynamo swimmers like Gunnar Bentz and the Litherland triplets also hailing from the state.

Peribonio’s best meet thus far occurred at NCSAs in Orlando. He ripped off a 3:54.89 in the 400-yard IM and a 1:50.88 in the 200-yard IM. He also popped a 4:28.67 in the 500-yard free at that meet as well all live on SwimmingWorld.TV.
