2011-12 NISCA High School All-American Lists Released

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 25. NISCA today released its All-American lists for Swimming and Diving for 2011-12. The lists feature the top-100 swimmers nationally in each event. Highlighting the list are several potential Olympians competing at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, as well as one diver who has already qualified for the Olympics.

Missy Franklin highlights the women's list with the top times in both the 100 and 200 free and second best times in the 50 free and 100 back. Franklin and Bonnie Brandon both top the lists with altitude-adjusted times, since their state meet took place in Colorado. Nationally-reknowned swimmer Chelsea Chenault led the list in the 500 free, while the Baylor women dominated the sprint relays, led by 50 free number one Kristen Vredeveld.

On the men's side, Arthur Frayler leads the way with his top time in the 500 free, while Maclin Davis put up a strong performance to lead the nation in the 100 fly.

In diving, Kassidy Cook led the women on her way to securing a spot on the Olympic Team. Cook won the women's three-meter springboard event in Federal Way over the weekend to secure her spot in London.
