AUSTIN, Texas, March 30. LOUISVILLE’s Joao De Lucca is the first man since 1995 to win both the 100 and 200 freestyles at the NCAA Division I Men’s Championships, but he seemed to be more excited about his 100 free.

Last year, De Lucca became an internet sensation after his winning celebration, but didn’t seem to be all that enthusiastic about defending that title. De Lucca, however, definitely enjoyed his win in the 100 free, an event he puts more credence in as a swim.

De Lucca is also excited about where Brazil’s men’s 400 free relay is going in terms of the international scene.
