AUSTIN, Texas, March 29. IT would appear that Michigan will not successfully defend its NCAA Men’s Division I Swimming and Diving championship title this year, but head coach Mike Bottom is pleased with the effort his Wolverines have put into their races in Austin.

In an interview with the media, Bottom talks about the positive aspects of the meet, including strong performances by Dylan Bosch and Kyle Whitaker in the 400 IM. He also touches on the leadership role Connor Jaeger takes on with pride, mentioning that Jaeger led cheers with the team shortly after falling below expectations in the 50 freestyle on Thursday.
