PHOENIX, Arizona, December 27. IN an ongoing effort to burn off holiday indulgences, Swimming World Magazine's Fitness Trainer JR Rosania sent us a video clip of two useful exercises to improve swimming fitness: the plyometric push-up and seated box jumps.


A stability ball is used for the plyometric push-up. Then, to make the typical box jump more difficult and explosive, Rosania has his client jump from a seated position.
