Gulf LSC Teams Offer Training Space for Swimmers Affected by Hurricane Katrina

GULF COAST, September 6. A handful of Gulf LSC teams are volunteering training space to swimmers displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The Gulf LSC has announced various teams have volunteered to make training space available for swimmers relocated from Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama to Houston and the surrounding Gulf Coast area as a result of Hurricane Katrina.

If you are a USA Swimming registered athlete displaced by the Hurricane Katrina tragedy and you would like to train temporarily at no charge with a local club, please forward your location to Robert Kelly at gulfswimpr@aol.com and he will forward the team's contact information to you.

Teams that will make training space available include Blue Tide Aquatics (BTA), Houston Cougar Aquatic Sports (COOG), Houston Swim Club (HSC), Team Yes Aquatics of Houston (TYES) and Sienna Plantation Aquatics (SPA).
