Morris Adds Name to NAG Record Book -- March 28, 2005

ORLANDO, Fla., March 28. AFTER 25 years of withstanding challenges, Paul Budd's 1,650 free NAG record in the 13-and-14 division bit the dust last weekend.

En route to a second-place finish at the NCSA Junior Nationals in Orlando, Brennan Morris lowered the 1,650 standard to 15:26.93 while representing Big Cat Aquatics. The former record, set by Budd in 1980, was a clocking of 15:28.92.

At Big Cat, located in State College (Pa.), Morris is coached by John Larson. Scott Spansail won the Junior National title in the event, as he touched the wall in 15:19.80.
